I don't think I ever went hungry in my days of uni-bumming, Anna...

I'm a very strong *theoretical* proponent of sensible metabolic and circadian rhythm management - the timing of when to exercise, eat and sleep (which is at least as critical to get right as quantity and quality.) This is because my circadian rythms are about as shot to pieces as they get, with the rather serious consequences this has entailed. So I tend to reguarly get a lot of advice from highly talented health professionals reinforcing the importance of this stuff; its probably more drilled into my head than the chain rule by this point.

Having said that, I'm often not actually very good at it in practice. Did I mention my non-existant circadian rhythms already?

Still, anyone capable of going for a run before 7:00 is capable of ensuring they eat something before midday. Or to put it bluntly, do as I say, not as I do :P
