A similar thing happened to me once when I was walking past UTS to my bus stop after a late shift at Oporto. A couple of guys stopped and offered me a lift because "it's not safe for a girl walking alone in the city at night". Um, and it's safer to get in a car with two strangers??
Anyway glad that in both cases (mine and yours) the guys went away when asked firmly and that everything is ok. My sympathies though, because it is just so creepy.

And that dream sounds awesome!
