Yeah, that's it! It's a really, really big deal in Australia. I'm talking on the scale of Harry Potter, at least in terms of my generation. It was one of the few series of books that, when a new book was released, everyone on the playground would be speculating about its contents weeks beforehand, and then would spend the next week or so discussing it intensely and having fannish conversations about shipping (although we didn't call it that), character deaths and so on.
