I loved Pride too, and it made me cry, too. It was particularly moving to watch it at an event put on as part of LGBT History Month, in a room filled with queer people, many of whom wouldn't even have been alive at the time the events depicted in the film took place (indeed I wasn't alive for most of that time, as I was born in December 1984).

I'm going to an event on Tuesday which is a panel discussion with several people who were activists from Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners, and I'm really looking forward to it.
