I actually think I'm feeling weirdly optimistic. There were some strange polls released today by the Conservative Party which seemed to suggest they might actually lose seats in an upcoming election (although my jaded suspicion is that these polls were being conveniently released to tempt Corbyn into an early election tonight -- and even he is not that gullible). As I say, I don't trust polls, and I am very aware I live in a bubble where Johnson's behaviour looks cowardly and incompetent, so I don't know what it looks like from a Brexiteer's perspective.
I think it's more unpredictable than anyone really knows, and I think a Labour majority is impossible. My wildest dream is for a hung parliament with Labour the biggest party, needing to be propped up by the Lib Dems, who make revocation or a People's Vote a condition. I think that's too optimistic, but I'm not certain it will be a hard Brexit landslide.
