According to my friend who works in public libraries, they have now started offering holds, which I don't think was the case when the libraries first reopened to a limited face-to-face service.

I suspect it might be due to the van drivers not being able to work due to the impossibility of social distancing?

I know very little about the subject--interesting!

I wouldn't expect most people to, although unfortunately Celtic Studies seems to attract a fringe of people who think they know about this subject, and then try to tell researchers in the field that their ill-informed beliefs are correct!

It is a fascinating subject, though, and I'm really glad that Mark has written this book, which is an excellent (and very readable) contribution to the field.
