I miss it, because I was a kid who grew up singing in a secular children's choir that practiced in churches 'cause they had the space and acoustics you need. And as an adult, I help out with a sunday school kid's choir. (It's tiny and adorable and delightful. but also: I teach sunday school and don't believe in that religion, if any. make of that what you will.) But churches aren't about the religion specifically for me; they're also symbolic of community, and they're beautiful spaces.
