I find the whole concept of these sort of high-brow literary revisioning interesting, because at best there will usually be a minor tee-hee about fanfiction and transformative text. When that's the element I usually find more interesting. But yeah, can't summon enough interest in American politics to read that one.

That was a good point regarding Queen of the Conquered walking in YA formula. The plot twist was awkwardly delivered and I think should have been earlier in the piece, there was a lot of retreading of the same plot elements again and again.
