I utterly applaud the passive aggression of this new single released by Asian Dub Foundation (ft. Stewart Lee). The title 'Comin' Over Here' should tell you all you need to know about its intent. The hope in pro-immigration, remainy circles is that it will be number one in the charts on the day the disaster that is Brexit finally arrives (i.e. 1st January).

It is of course an entirely symbolic gesture, but that's all we've got at this point, really.

That is bloody brilliant! I love Lee's opening bit and I was cracking up when he hit Anglo-Saxon.

The thing is, the UK is a country of immigrants and always has been, it's just older than the US and sometimes idiots forget it.

Isn't it just great? I loved that he even quoted bits of Old English poetry — it made my medievalist heart happy.

Exactly so. Immigration has always been a normal part of the human experience.
