It always was pretty fast here (the benefit of living in one of the two countries that have hoarded supplies of the vaccine, sadly), but in the past two weeks it's suddenly sped up rapidly. After healthcare workers and people working in care homes were vaccinated, eligibility has been solely determined by age (with exceptions for younger people with certain chronic health conditions), so for me (in my thirties, no chronic illness) it's just been a waiting game.
