My one experience at a Michelin-starred restaurant, in Spain, was superb: the food was amazing, when I didn't care for one dish they immediately offered me alternatives, and the service was the best I have had anywhere.
Same — I've been to a Michelin-starred restaurant in Prague, and twice in the UK, and my experience was the same as yours. The servings were generally just a couple of mouthfuls, but there were ... well, carbs, so by the end of each meal I was as full as if I had eaten a single filled plate of a generously-sized main course. Certainly not just shots of vinegar and cuttlefish ice-cream!
