Canon divergence is a lot of fun as well. I find it difficult to write (as you've probably gathered, future fic is my favourite thing to write) but I love reading it.

I hope you like the Ottoman history. Next up for me is a history of the Habsburgs — I'm all about the multi-ethnic, multi-lingual southeastern European/central Asian empire histories at the moment, it seems!
