The running joke in my home town is that, if asked something like "If someone's come to Hereford for the first time, what would you recommend they do?" the answer is usually along the lines of "Turn round and run!" That's probably a fair assessment; the times I've had family here it's usually involved going off somewhere out of town for the day.
