I think, perhaps like you, I tend to come up with a small handful of stalwarts and then repeat them for new visitors. But, when I have a long-term guest, I try to remember that they're also here to see me, so going to a nice cafe and then just chatting is probably serving the same purpose as any number of nice museums.

Also, cooking. I feel like one can never go wrong by just feeding people.
