The tricky thing is that actually I feel they would prefer just hanging out and talking, but they feel that a visit needs to be A Visit in capital letters with seeing of the sights and a variety of activities. But then this is made more complicated by lack of cars and low mobility, and they get really tired, whereas if we'd just hung around chatting that might have been avoided! It's all so complicated!
