So true! I've moved so much (I grew up in the one place and lived there for fifteen years, but then I moved a lot in my adult life, and my family left the city where I grew up so there was no good reason to call it home after that), and I've had to rebuild and recreate social circles each time, so I know it is possible to create new groups of people who make a place feel like home — but I also know without that strong set of social bonds, a place will never quite be home, even if I've lived there for years.
