On Friday before I closed Twitter, almost every fifth tweet was an ad, and they were all weird crypto scams, 'financial advice' companies that seemed to be crypto scams, dodgy tech startups, and accounts that seemed to have paid Twitter to promote their music. I block every one of them as soon as they pop up, but as I say it was almost every fifth tweet. Elon Musk's Twitter!
