It's such a wonderful part of the world, and I'm glad I went, weather and train chaos notwithstanding.

I think when it comes to trains we're just going to have to accept that chaos will be built into the schedule, things will take longer, and we should plan to stop overnight even when it's theoretically possible to do the whole trip in a day. I'm sorry to hear you also had constant train trouble in the Netherlands and Belgium!
