Ha, that could have been my father-in-law, except I think his brother was also born in Uganda. (It made for some interesting conversations with various representatives of the NHS when J was born, as anyone with a grandparent born in Uganda (among other places, obviously) is recommended to get the BCG early. But since the family moved back to the UK in the 1960s and nobody has been back to Africa since, except for a holiday to Kenya in the mid 1990s, we decided that the TB risk was really not significant.)
