Yikes, that is frustrating. The "whataboutisms" are annoying and I imagine watching people complain about how someone isn't talking about xyz or using it as a way to distract from another cause is not easy nor is it productive on their part. Also using "cringe" as a way to describe serious issues ... yikes. I'd say that if it makes you uncomfortable, well, maybe, it should, because it isn't meant to be fun and games.
