You really would like the 'Pub, and I know that the sraffies would like you too. You're exactly the type of person we'd love to join our forum: literate, articulate, interested in books and discussing them. I, for one, would welcome you with open arms!

It *is* a very well-established forum, and has lots and lots of posts and comments, but we'd welcome new people, and in any case, most of the regulars use it more as a place to hang out than as a place to discuss Philip Pullman's books these days.
