Fortunately, unfortunately

Fortunately I wrote 2000 words today, and finally feel like I'm writing stuff that I'm not embarrassed to send to my supervisor. I did my 'curing-writers' block' trick: when you find yourself staring at a blank screen for three hours, try writing with pen and paper. It works every time.
Unfortunately, it seems to have made my pseudo-RSI return.

Unfortunately, I appear to have turned into that kind of Watchmen fangirl. The kind who needs to demonstrate her allegiance with inappropriate items of clothing/merchandise.

Even more unfortunately, the internet hates my particular form of account, and always tells me it's invalid, meaning I'm unable to buy things online.

Fortunately, [livejournal.com profile] losseniaiel is awesome.

Awww.

I set the delivery address for you at John's, so it should be winging its way to you tomorrow.

Also, I caved and bought both the regency vampire book and the Sookie Stackhouse book.

Well, when I'm acting like such an example of restraint, it's hard to be abstemious yourself, isn't it?

Thanks heaps! *hugs*

*hides Absolute Watchmen and Watchmen Film Companion under Watchmen hoodie, Watchmen Beanie, and Rorschach shirt, with a few books and DVDs thrown in for good measure.

YES IT IS VERY BAD TO BUY MERCHANDISE. NEVER BUY THAT STUFF. IT CHEAPENS US ALL. I WILL NEVER BE THAT TYPE OF FANGIRL.

At least I didn't buy the action figures so I could reenact scenes from the movie....

EVERY TIME YOU BUY WATCHMEN MERCHANDISE, RORSCHACH BREAKS A FINGER (AND ALAN MOORE CHEERS HIM ON).

Well, I can't out-fangirl you! Just one T. shirt for me. But because of the drama involved in buying it, it feels as epic as all the stuff that you bought.

WIN.

It's not the AMOUNT of Watchmen stuff you have, it's the near-psychotic love for what you DO have.
