Yes, I've just come out of another meeting with my supervisor. She proceeded to tear strips out of my (admittedly flimsy and poorly constructed) argument, while I gibbered and made incoherent responses. I then went home and rewrote the entire thing, and felt a bit better.

Then there was an incredible storm which kept me awake all night, but in the cool 'I love the wildness of nature and might just watch the storm instead of sleeping' kind of way, rather than the 'what an annoying noise' kind of way! This week is turning out to be quite cool, however. I've already been out for cocktails at the incredibly wonderful Culetto's ('it's not a drink, it's a dessert'!), and I saw my old Irish teacher, who is now lecturing in Wales, yesterday. Today is the full family experience (dinner with the grandparents), and on Sunday WE'RE GOING TO CIRQUE DU SOLEIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry. I just really love Cirque du Soleil. The show is called Varekai, and it is one of the few Cirque shows which I haven't seen yet on TV. (I've seen 'We Reinvent the Circus', 'Saltimbanco', 'AlegriA' and 'Quidam' live, and I've seen 'Quidam', 'Dralion' and 'Nouvelle Experience' on TV...)

Anyway, thesis stuff is getting a bit more stressful, and I've begun hallucinating the way I used to during the last months of the IB. Oh well, only a month to go. Oh...hang on...that's not a good thing...
