We have teh technology!

This article really sums up a lot of stuff that I've been thinking for a long time. It ties in with the themes of one of my favourite books, Scott Westerfeld's Extras, and my belief that mine, a generation of transition, is characterised by both an incredible openness and an incredible lonliness. The illusion (and sometimes the reality) of connection combined with a terrible isolation and disconnection.

But I can't deplore it. I might be the most technologically inept girl born this side of 1980, but the Internet has brought me nothing but joy and purpose.
