I like to post about/read about: Most of my posts are locked but I am glad to add people. What you find under the lock is a mix of daily life stuff, work stuff (my job is legitimately fascinating: I'm a librarian at a really unusual library), writing (including self-publishing 1920s romance with a bit of magic and mystery plot), magical and religious life (form: religious witchcraft), and other stuff as I find it. I periodically do what my friends call "librarian smash" posts when I hit bits of really awful research, which amuse a number of people.
Fandoms (including bigger, non-Yuletide fandoms): I tend to write in odd fandoms for Yuletide, dabble in a bunch. I have a complex relationship with the Potterverse, which is probably the one I'm most likely to talk about in my journal, and Doctor Who is my second fandom, dating from when I was about 6, in Classic form. I'm also generally a mystery fan. I don't extensively write fic other than a couple of exchanges a year. (I like seeing other people talk about theirs, though!)
This Yuletide I wrote: The Stars Have Never Fallen (Agora 2009)
Any recs from this year's Yuletide and/or Madness collection? My rec post is over here.
