Beyond Selidor

Yeah, my enjoyment of Supergirl (and eventual decision to stop watching) is probably directly tied to how irritated I got the longer they dragged out her refusal to share her identity with Lena. I hated that development so much!

I read a rumour -- although I don't know how true it is -- that Gale was originally going to be written as Katniss's cousin, and Collins was basically forced to add in a love triangle due to that trope's supposed popularity, so had to hastily transform Gale into a childhood friend (and thus someone possible as a love interest). It certainly wouldn't surprise me.
