Exactly. Tags exist, the scroll button exists, and I'm more interested in talking about what I like, and finding other people who like it, and finding new things that relate to those likes, than castigating others for creating things I don't like, being a fan of things I dislike, or Doing Fandom Wrong.

I'm suspicious of people whose sole (or main) fandom activity seems to be griping about the existence of things they dislike and attacking those who create and engage with those things. Why not put that energy into making the kind of fannish content you want to see, or building a community of like-minded people?
