My first fandom was Harry Potter, and subsequent to an LJ discussion in which someone made the typo "giant squib" I wrote Letter Perfect, Giant Squid/Giant Squib, a silly little thing which as far as I can tell was one of the first Giant Squid stories in the fandom. It got me a completely undeserved reputation for being into tentacle sex (come on, this is a G-rated cracky humor story).
