Thank you! It's definitely a relief, although I'll feel better when he's had the second dose, and when all adults in the UK have been vaccinated.

You don't really need to know much about medieval Irish literature to understand what's going on in the book — it's a retelling of one story, and alludes to a lot of others, but not in a way that's incomprehensible. I should warn you that the book is very dark — it's not a cheerful thing to read.
