Beyond Selidor

Every so often, there are bursts of activity on Dreamwidth beyond book blogging. I remember when The Old Guard came out on Netflix last year, one of my friends set up a comm and it was fairly active for a month or so, before dying away again. And I know my friends who are into Chinese dramas are fairly active on Dreamwidth (although they also hang out on Twitter a lot). Activity seems to come and go in waves, and is very dependent on the specific fandom (and therefore the specific fans it attracts).
