Beyond Selidor

The way Monica was treated was shameful. I'll admit, eleven or twelve year old me even saw her as some b*tch who went after the President and... yeah. After she started speaking for herself, I did some major rethinking and felt pretty bad. I did wonder, even then, why her "friend" would broadcast that to the world. But it wasn't until high school that I saw her interviews and really started to understand just how badly the media did by her. I was glad when she started talking even more and more people acknowledged it.

I should watch that documentary as I realize too a lot more was going on politically than I caught onto at the time. I was about eleven or twelve, what did I know? :/
