I really like your goals and especially the focus on kindness. I used to have all sorts of rules on what it would mean to lead a good/successful life but over the years I dropped them all and only "be kind" remains. It doesn't mean that I succeed even at that all the time, but I figure even if everything else go wrong, as long as I can stick to this one rule to the best of my abilities, I can still be proud of myself.

The way you describe Twitter as a form of self-harm is interesting and giving me something to think about.
