Beyond Selidor

Oh goodness same! Car maintenance seems to be something that comes easily to most people but just the idea of opening the hood makes me antsy, to the point I can't even change a tire. It also has the drawback of not being easily learnt on sites like youtube, so it really comes down to having someone in your physical vicinity willing to teach you. Hope it gets easier with time and more trying though!
