Beyond Selidor

I was definitely, objectively, too young for it, but also, that was the age when I was essentially buying used fantasy MMPs by the foot from my local used paperback store -- grist for the mill! That said, I think those books, because of their ~qualities, were the first time I ever used the internet to look up other people's opinions on books and use them to decide if I would continue the series or not. I decided not! Pretty momentous in terms of my overall internet trajectory, all told.

I definitely do remember both female characters, and remember liking them both! Faraday and… Azure? But then, I only ever read the first two and don't know if any particular character assassination happened in the third. I ALSO strongly remember that the first book opens with an evil demon fetus eating its way out of the womb, which left a decided impression.
