Beyond Selidor

I sympathise with a lot of what you share here. "I'd like to have some in-person social connections based on shared interests or activities." is also something I've been thinking about a lot, and how to go around it. I did join a local club but I'd love to find (or create...) something that's more related to my interests/passions.
