I'm glad you liked the photos, and yes, Riga is wild with its ornate buildings — one of the best cities I've ever visited, and lots of fun just to walk around in.

The doughnuts were delicious, and you gave excellent advice in general. My only regret (other than not swimming) was not taking your advice at the first opportunity to buy the most incredible berries, fruit, and vegetables from one of the little stalls I saw all over Finland and Estonia (they even took cards!). I kept seeing them at times when it wasn't convenient to carry a punnet of berries around, kept saying I would buy something at a more convenient time, and by the time it was convenient (when we arrived in Latvia and Lithuania, with less moving around), there were no more stalls!
