Lovely post :) I can't claim any credit since I was on sabbatical at the time, but the 'Pub is a great place full of amazing people. You're right, I think, that the calibre of members/conversations is generally higher than on other forums. And I don't understand why anyone thinks that a relationship nurtured on the internet is any less valuable than one done so on the phone, or by letter, or in person. Their loss, I guess!
