This is a test post to make sure that my new Dreamwidth journal Beyond Selidor is crossposting things to LJ properly. Dreamwidth were offering free accounts up until the end of 2011 and I figured I might as well avail myself of the offer. I imagine LJ will remain my primary blogging site, but it never hurts to back things up, and if more people come over the Dreamwidth, that may change. Obviously you can comment on LJ or Dreamwidth.

That being said, if people are on Dreamwidth, feel free to add me!

What does Dreamwidth have over LJ?

It's an LJ clone, so it's pretty similar. At the moment, its commenting system is slightly better (due to changes at LJ that removed some previous functions). Also, though I'm dubious of such claims, it's supposed to be created and run by fandom people, which makes it more likely to listen to the issues raised by people within fandom (although like I said I'm not sure to what extent this actually happens). Basically it never hurts to have a backup.
