dolorosa_12My god, I haven't written in my lj for ages and ages, but I've just been so busy! I went back to uni and straight away it seems to be all about the essays, the research, and fooling your supervisor by claiming to have done more work than you've actually done. ('Of course I've started writing my thesis...')
Today we had a meeting with ex-honours students, who displayed their battle wounds like war-weary veterans and reminded me of all the ex-college students who tried to scare us about how horrible the IB/Year 12 would be. This was followed by (I kid you not) an hour long lecture on how to footnote and write bibliographies. I fear for the world if a bunch of English Honours students have got this far without knowing the mysteries of referencing.
Then, like the good little Arts students that we are, we went off to the uni bar and drank.
