...and just in time for City to Surf

dolorosa_12Unfortunately, I have the worst cold in the history of the universe! Or at least, that's how it feels at the moment. I have one of those colds where you go into a coughing fit every half hour or so...not the greatest look when you work in a cake shop. I would be talking to the customers and have to run away to cough. I'm sick of it.
So far this week I have:
Gone to my two classes, and had a nervous breakdown when I realised that I have 7 weeks to write 10, 000 words of my thesis. I kind of hadn't been doing any work on it for the past month. I was so freaked out, though, that I went home and wrote 1, 000 words! So now I feel more virtuous.
Babysat for my insane cousins, who locked me in their bedroom, threw cushions at me and tried to force-feed me peanuts.
Gone out with a bunch of people from English, who seem to personify the drunken arts student stereotype. Honestly, I've never met anyone else who says 'We only had to come in to uni for one hour, let's go drinking so I won't feel I've wasted my time.' (please note, this was at 3 pm...)
Gone to work, and tried not to eat all the chocolate.
Been unable to train for City to Surf, which is in just a week.
