It's sometimes hard to find people who like the same small, Yuletide-eligible fandoms as you do, so as in the past two years, this is a friending meme for after reveals, so that people can find and add the authors, recipients and commenters who made their 2019 Yuletides so enjoyable.

I'm still only halfway through reading but particular recs so far are To Wander Still (Wayfarers series by Becky Chambers, rated gen, about the importance of ritual in forging society) and The Bones of the Hills (Tiffany Aching series by Terry Pratchett, rated gen, bringing a little more of the wider Discworld into Tiffany's world) and of course my gifts, which I'll do a proper rec post for on my own journal today!

Anything else you want to say:Hi! I'm relatively new to transformative fandom though I've been in SFF book fandom for a long time. I love cosy stories and and currently avoiding reading or watching anything grim, because reality is grim enough for me-- and I need to image a better world is possible. I have cat and a kid and I enjoy sewing.

Any recs from this year's Yuletide and/or Madness collection? I'm not done reading yet, but everything in the Baseball RPF tag is delightful and fun, maybe because the 2019 season had so many surprises? Also I REALLY loved Fiat Justitia - I was not familiar with the historical figures before reading, but the strong female character, developing friendship, and careful way this fic deals with grief make it great. My gift Allemande is a warm, delightful canon era Christmas fic with developing Ben/Caleb.
