Me, a month ago, to myself: Ronni, you are not allowed to buy any more things from sellers based in the United States until their postal service is free from political interference and the consequent massive delays in shipping.

Me, yesterday, to myself: But betsiewithey has just started selling oak leaf earrings.

It is a dilemma, that's for sure.

I love all her stuff, but I really can't justify buying it at the moment.

US shipping prices are the secondary arrow, alas (almost half! of the cost of the earrings).

But yes, tempting...

I know, right? And on top of that, there's usually an import tax added on top of the shipping costs, which isn't charged at the point of making the order, but rather when the item(s) arrives in the UK — at which point the postal service here sends a message or sticks a note through the door saying I need to pay the import tax before the parcel will be delivered. It's a real pain in the neck.

Her stuff is absolutely gorgeous! I own a lot of the hairclips already, and love the look of the headbands, although I don't think they would suit me. I own so many items of clothing and jewellery which look like flowers, leaves etc, and hers are definitely my among my favourites!
