Yes, you read that right. If you like trains and/or the Schengen zone, these are the links for you.
The first is an interactive article from the New York Times: 'The Hidden Melodies of Subways Around the World'.
The second is an Instagram account,
berlinstagram. As you can probably tell from the name, this person normally posts photos of Berlin, but because it is the 'EU Year of Rail,' there's been a regular feature of railways, train lines and railway stations across all of Europe. Train travel is my favourite way to travel, and I've seen a lot of Europe by rail, so of course this makes me very happy. There are some posts on the regular Instagram grid which should be visible to everyone, but the vast majority are saved to Highlights/Stories, which can only be viewed if you have an Instagram account.
