Usually, I love the ASNaC department to bits. But it would've been helpful, if, at the start of the year, someone had told me I was going to be writing about literature (as opposed to just doing some translations) in my Irish exam. That way I could've, you know, gone to some literature lectures and actually learned stuff.

I had finally become calm about exams, and now this happens.

Literature? Eeek. I really should check the rubric for my exams. I'm pretty sure I only have to do commentary on passages - not that I have anything to say about that either.

I overreacted as usual. It's a literature question on the set texts, not on the texts from the literature lectures. And I only have to 'comment on points of literary interest', not write a huge essay. The bad news is, the extract will be in Irish, which means I'll have to translate the damn thing before being able to say anything about its 'points of literary interest.
