Day 2: Talk about your piercings or tattoos, if you have any.
I only have the standard one piercing per ear. I don't want to have any more piercings, and I certainly don't want any tattoos, as it sounds extremely painful. If I did have tattoos, I'd have quotes, I think, since I go around collecting quotes and would love to have them written on my body. My friend soapyraindrops has 'Tell them stories', which is a quote from Philip Pullman's The Amber Spyglass, tattooed on her wrist.

If I used one of my quotes, it would probably be one of the following:
'Far from my home/ is the country I have reached', which is from the Middle Irish text Buile Shuibne
'I quietly observe standing in my space/ Daydreaming', which is from Massive Attack's song 'Daydreaming'
'As far away as Selidor', which is a quote from Ursula Le Guin's Earthsea books
'Run, whirlwind run', which is from The Naked And Famous' song 'Girls Like You'.

But I don't think I could put myself through the amount of pain necessary to get a large tattoo like one of those, so yeah.

Nikki has "written on the body" tattooed on her hip. I think that's a pretty good quote.

Tattoos don't really hurt that much. I want another but I can't work out what.

The pain seems like too much for me, but to be honest the expense puts me off too, since all I want is really long quotes, which would cost a lot. Are you wanting another quote for your second tattoo?
