I hope everyone had as good a Yuletide as I did! It's sometimes hard to find people who like the same small, Yuletide-eligible fandoms as you do, so I thought it would be great to do a friending meme after reveals, so that people could find and add the authors, recipients and commenters who made their 2018 Yuletides so enjoyable.

Please feel free to share this meme far and wide. To participate, just leave a comment on this post, copying the code below and filling in your own answers. I've enabled anonymous commenting so if you don't have a Dreamwidth account you can still participate.

People who didn't participate in Yuletide are also welcome to participate in this friending meme — obviously just leave out answers to the questions regarding Yuletide.

I like to post about/read about: knitting, writing, books, films, personal stuff, fannish things
Fandoms (including bigger, non-Yuletide fandoms): Lots of comic and comics-adjacent fandoms (MCU, Marvel comicverse, Transmetropolitan, DC comics, Apollo & Midnighter, Fables, Sandman, etc). Star Trek, Babylon 5, Firefly, most other space shows. Historical fandoms (including RPF), book fandoms (including the films) including Austen, Shakespeare, Mieville, Harry Potter, Seafort Saga, Culture, Discworld. 80s and 90s films. Theatre. Fairy tales and classical mythology. I do multi-fandom challenges and am very eclectic in what I read and write for.
This Yuletide I wrote: The Harvest of Orhoch, a Left Hand of Darkness fic.
Any recs from this year's Yuletide and/or Madness collection? I haven't had a chance to do much reading this year so I'm rather behind. However, as well as my lovely gifts (which were in The Nanny and Seafort Saga fandoms), I really enjoyed the Culture fics this year, and Sail is particularly delightful. The Amazing Adventures of Gay-bi-wan Kenobi and Bicurious Lad (an Askewniverse fic) made me laugh out loud and is perfectly in character.
Anything else you want to say: I'm always looking for book recs, so if you have a grand space opera you want to recommend, I'd be very interested.

I always love massive multi-fannishness! And I know I remember your name from crossing fannish paths before; I think on sga_talk ages ago, and I'm pretty sure you've left me feedback on AO3 before, too. Subscribed!

You had me at Historical RPF, but a multifannish someone who reads Fables and Discworld and SF? I'm there! Would you mind if I added you?
