The actor Riz Ahmed is also a rapper, and he's just released an album, The Long Goodbye. The clue is in the name: it is a justifiably furious breakup letter to Brexit Britain, full of grief and rage at the weight of what it is to be Muslim, and of South Asian descent, and British in a Britain which has always been hostile to your very existence, and increasingly so.

The album (and one of its songs) is accompanied by the below incredible short film. To say it is powerful would be a monstrous understatement. It punches in the heart, like an accusation.

That video is a difficult watch, but so good. I didn't know that he was a rapper before this, so I'll have to watch for him now.

It's incredible, isn't it? I've listened to most of the other songs on the album, and they're pretty good too.

It's absolutely brilliant, but pretty angry and grim, so only watch if you're in the mood for something along those lines.
