I was chatting with V, one of the kids at the school yesterday afternoon. I get on quite well with her; she's a mad Buffy fan, she's often moody, she removes herself from the insanity that goes on in her group instead of confronting it - in short, she's basically my 21st-century primary school avatar. Anyway, yesterday she was in full pensive/empathetic mode.
'Ronni,' she said to me, 'I feel sorry for you because you have to work in childcare. It must be really frustrating to have so many people constantly ignoring you when you tell them what to do.'
No s***, I thought.
In other news, there was a cool link on
whedonesque today, nicely summarising Angel. Since I essentially agree with everything said, I thought I'd share for those of you who are Joss fans but don't necessarily read
whedonesque regularly. Spoilers abound, of course.
Now, back to watching Gossip Girl.
