Some of you may have seen this review of a Michelin-starred Italian restaurant, which was going viral on several of my social media platforms yesterday.
Now, I'm a food snob, and have eaten at several of this type of restaurant — the kind where you get multiple smaller courses, rather than a substantial main course, and where everything is matched to wine pairings and so on. But on every such occasion, the food was excellent, the staff were professional and helpful, there was an actual menu (and people were clear about allergies and dietary requirements), and I left feeling full. This restaurant — at least on the occasion when the reviewer and her friends dined there — is like a bad parody of this type of fine dining, and the review is hilarious.
And, like the icing on the cake, the chef has posted his response (towards the bottom of this article), and it just adds to the utter absurdity.

Same — I've been to a Michelin-starred restaurant in Prague, and twice in the UK, and my experience was the same as yours. The servings were generally just a couple of mouthfuls, but there were ... well, carbs, so by the end of each meal I was as full as if I had eaten a single filled plate of a generously-sized main course. Certainly not just shots of vinegar and cuttlefish ice-cream!
