Beyond Selidor

Considering we're almost halfway through the current season, I thought it was high time I worked out exactly what my opinion is. This is more scattered thoughts, rather than a coherent, single narrative about the season (hence I'm posting here, and not on Wordpress). That will come at the end of the season, I think.

Anyone else watching? What do you think of the new season so far?

I was wondering whether or not to post something about the Supernatural season finale. At first I thought not to, since my thoughts are still kind of disjointed, but then losseniaiel watched it herself, and I realised I had some stuff to say. This normally falls under the category of 'stuff I'd post about on Wordpress', but the slight incoherence suggests that it's probably more suitable for my LJ.

thelxiepia has been keeping me very entertained tonight with some wonderful links.

First, there's 'Damn Demented Demons', a gen Harry Potter/Supernatural crossover fic by hells_half_acre. It's quite long, but very worth reading. It really captures the nuances of both series, and in particular the links and similarities between various characters.

Then, we've got a great Canon vs Fanon Snape (highlights include '200% latex' and 'obligatory chibis') by Zorm.

Finally, enjoy this great youtube parody called 'Vampires'.
